Photo Editing Tutorials #1 & #2

My three pictures I created from the tutorials on Tuesday.

In this first picture I created, the main theme was gardening. I used hue and brightness to alter the forefront picture. I also used the filter sumi-e for the background photo. I adjusted the top photo to be smaller and placed it right above the woman's water canning to indicate how her plants might look in the future.

For the second photo, its inspiration was volleyball. I used the Sumi-e filter which I like best out of all of the options. Around the text, I used satin, stroke, and an outer glow to better blend in the words with the photo. I used a bold Magento text.

For the last photo, I used a picture of a puppy. On the text, I used a drop shadow. I used a bold text such as Bauhaus 93 at 40 pt. in order to make it stand out and easy to read. I then added another layer on top and filled it with a solid magenta color. I also adjusted the puppy picture to be lower so you could view its eyes.
