Written Reflection

Previous to this course, I did not realize how many different forms of multimedia communication there are including photoshop, Canva, illustrator, knight lab, and various other sights that allow you to create engaging posts. After completing all of the projects, I learned that communication could arise in various forms. These forms can be through blog posts, helpful tutorials, inspirational photos, posters, and so many other ways. I gained the knowledge of how to maneuver through both photoshop and illustrator which I had no previous experience with. I also began to understand how important paying attention to detail is when trying to communicate with a specific audience. The more details there are typically, the more engagement you can expect.

Multimedia communication allows for creativity, inspiration, and personal passions to take place creating a place for everyone. It further captivates the audience's attention and can be easier to understand due to the visuals provided. It is also heavily used in today’s society and one of the most popular and primary sources of communication nowadays. Through these new skills I acquired in editing, I am very happy to have had the opportunity to take this class and for bringing me into the multimedia world.
